    Texas Parks and Wildlife and Wildlife Habitat Federation workshop on Friday, April 13 with presentations beginning at 3:00 PM and a social hour beginning at 5:00 PM.  The workshop will be held at the Washington County Fairgrounds – VIP Building at 1305 East Blue Bell Road in Brenham.  This workshop will provide information on Understanding Quail and Native Grass Restoration, Garry Stephens, Wildlife Habitat Federation, Quail Myths and Misconceptions, Robert Perez, TPWD, Cattle, Quail and Native Vegetation, Dr. Bill Eikenhorst, DVM, and Opportunities for Financial Assistance with Restoration and Management, Veronica O’Donnell, NRCS.

    Also please see this resource has been produced by the NRCS and includes a list of quail friendly plants for food and cover. As well as a simple formula to calculate the appropriate amount of cover.
